How many machines does My Friend's Laundromat have?
We have a total of 28 dryers and 26 washers. Weight allowance ranges from 20lb to 85lb for the washers, and 35lb to 83lb for the dryers
Do you offer any environmentally-friendly laundry options?
Yes! Shorter cycles use less energy. Larger loads mean fewer loads and less spending! You also have the option to choose your load size so the machines optimize water usage
Can I use your machines for large items like quilts or sleeping bags
Absolutely! We have machines that can accommodate larger items like quilts and sleeping bags. Our durable and efficient machines are designed to finish even the largest loads in about an hour!
What time is the last load permitted?
The last load must be in the washer/dryer 1 hour before close. The doors automatically lock at the closing time stated on the "contact us" page of this website, and displayed inside the
Are there instructions on how to use the machines and payment methods?
Yes, every washer, dryer, and money card machine will have instructions on how to use each machine. You are also welcome to call our phone number on our signage if you have any issues during your visit with us.
Some key points to note:
- All liquid detergents, powder and fabric softener go inside the compartments on the top of each washing machines
- DETERGENT PODS do not go in the top compartments. They go directly inside the washing machine with your fabric.
Are your machines sanitary?
Our machines have a sanitizing cycle to ensure that no residue was left behind from the customer prior to your wash!
What types of payment do you take?
All machines require a My Friend's Laundromat card that you fill at the kiosk inside our laundromat. These machines take cash, debit cards, credit cards, EBT cash benefits and ApplePay. Once your card is filled, you use that laundry card on our washing and dryer machines. $10 minimum required when using cards, EBT or ApplePay.
NOTE: Our Kiosks do not accept change, and done not give change for large bills.
